Is there a way to show/hide which way the X, Y and Z directions are in Blender?

Is there a way to show/hide which way the X, Y and Z directions are in Blender?

I get confused when I’m doing an operation such as pressing SX or SZ or SY and I cannot remember which direction I’m going in until after I press the keys. I’ve been wasting alot of time with this, is there a way to show the directions visually on screen somehow?

theres the gimbal in the corner of the screen. try setting your space to LOCAL, that way the gimbal appears oriented to the object rotation.

Yes, that helped me. thanks bro

I found it on the bottom left: View -> Align View -> View Selected.

normal set up is suing Global which follow the World
local mode follow the object coordinates
unless you use the Transform edge or face
