Macro: Gears, Bolts, Spheres, & Micro-Chips

Here are some macro shots made with my Canon A75 and a Minolta 50mm f/2 lens. The gear and screws are from a wristwatch; the micro-chips from an old camera. Note the 5 different sizes of ball-point pen tips!

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

very nice shots,

good work.

Very cool! Never really thought about how small ball points were.

As long as you have the screws out of the watch, could you take a picture of the watch’s inner workings (assuming it’s an analog watch)?

What would be really interesting would be a dish soap bubble. They kind of have a oily puddle look, which would look cool up close.

Great pics!
