There have been quite a few car projects lately. So I made a tire for anyone who wants to “give it a spin”.
I re-invented the tire, again. However, this tire is very easy to UVmap and edit. I positioned and duplicated the Tire Tread faces for UVmapping, so that you can place your own Treads in the editor. Same for the sides of the tires. Letters, white walls, or nothing. It is up to you.
Here’s the same project, but I added some mold marks and a logo.
Add STRAIGHT lettering. The UVmap settings will curve it for you!
Very little, if any, distortion and SubSurf is on 2X!
This is a GENERIC mesh, so changing the shaders, colors, maps, spec, etc… is up to the user. You can change the tire size, width, thickness, etc… to a limited degree and it will still look good.
Everything is DATA packed and ready to use as is. Import it to your current project.
