just testing some new features out that will be in use for a short film.
man blender has just got better and better…and its getting even better
here are two test renders of that new glass thing (internal refractions or something) placed on a plane and lit with 3 lights and a HDR. not bad imo!
ill have some whisky glasses and other stuff up soon…aswell as nodes and material examples

Yes I like the new glass features too, and not only glass, all transparent objects. Be warned though, when you start filling the whole scene with glass and transparent objects using those features rendertimes can go through the roof.
here is a node test. i tried making some lava material. its not finished yet i still need to make some parts brighter and add the black crust that usaully sits on the magma, also ill make it into a fluid simulation and use the new spray via particles to get parts of the lava bursting and stuff
