    The icons for the particle selection modes are inappropriate imo.
    See this video at 04:35 for example:

    edit: Thank you very much for your wonderful icons!

    yeah, really. whatever small comments, crits or nitpicks we have given, this is a lovely and usable iconset. top work.
    A big part of how awesome 2.5 will (and does) look is due to you.

    I like the 'Plugin' icon!

    The 'Stop' color seems too bright, though. I'd expect it to be more muted, like the rest of the reds in the icon set.

    Thanx for kind words. Thanks for crits, nitpicks, grumbling and so on. As far You were constructive, it was really stimulating.

    @Manitwo
    Even it's the valid point, I would like to wait a bit to see how Particles will behave after Jahka's next overhaul of the system (he plans to make all kind of particles to be editable at some point).

    Hah, those are positively beautiful! I rather like the idea of them having a different color scheme from the modifiers actually - it becomes a visual language, so that you can instantly see that you are dealing with a force field.

    Might be nice with a yellow coloured group icon for the Group Instance item too.

    RE: the PR icon, I think it looks a bit ambiguous, but then again so are the letters 'PR'. Perhaps it'd be clearer to show a range with only part of it highlighted, or something else that signifies 'preview', like an eye.

    Cheers,

    -W

    @William
    Maybe a Key Hole as a symbol for a Preview in general?

    Those icons are perfect! I think a few people out there might switch to Blender just for the icons.

    A key hole sounds like a good contender for preview ... kind of says 'take a sneak peek'.

    jendrzych:

    Very nice icons
    Just one thought: Magnetic would probably be clearer, if it features an actual magnet

    Magnetic is okay without a magnet, and the icons in general are awesome, but I donīt understand "drag"=/??

    I don't too...

    let me quote Jahka's explanation:
    Drag:There are different strength factors for linear and quadratic drag (drag
    for slow moving and fast moving points), but basically this force field
    just slows particles down. The only advice I can give here is some kind of
    icon that visualizes a point slowing down would probably be most
    appropriate

    A key hole is a little cryptic still - I doubt you'd be able to understand it without an explanation. How about a clock (similar to timeline icon) but with a 'piece' highlighted?

    Edit: Here's a mockup.

    So drag is basically like friction? An additional friction which doesn't actually attract particles (change their direction) but slows them down when they go closer?

    Hm.... preview is a tough one... <- maybe like this but half-way pixeled?

    Wow, wasn't expecting this so fast! They look awesome.

    I rather like the arrows on the magnetic icon, don't really need a magnet, IMO.

    What about the general force field icon?
