python path woes??

using blender 2.26
mandrake linux 9.0
python 2.2

ok I have followed the directions as above eggs-actly

but I still cannot run any scripts

as an example in the blender questions and answers forum there is a thread titled “grass”

which leads to a script called “Fiber”

when I try to run the script with alt-P

I get a python script error and the line

“from Fiber13 import*” is highlighted

so if someone could point me to where I’m messing up I’d appreciate it

Try following them exactly by using python ver 2.0.1 as recommended.

Alot of scripts don’t work in blender 2.26 or 2.25. Try using the older 2.23 instead.
