Every year, November 1st and 2nd are in Poland holidays to remember our dead relatives, friends, artists, servicemen etc. In fact, today is All Saints’ Day and all other dead are remembered tomorrow (Zaduszki) , but people don’t differentiate anyway. Today and tomorrow mean, too, commemorative programs on TV. Also extra trams and buses to take people to and from cemeteries. Polish people go across the country to put lights on the tombs of their loved ones or good friends. This is the flame of memory. Szczecin has Poland’s biggest cemetery and only two other European ones are bigger. Helloween is known and some Polish people, like adolescents, celebrate it but it is not endorsed by the govt and majority of people. Below are the images of Szczecin Central Cemetery
