10 cubes challenge 2025 entry for ‘old’
For this theme I decided to try and recreate a cassette tape. I used more materials for this project than my previous 10 cubes submissions, including a glass BSDF node. I started out with 5 cubes, I bevelled one of them to create the centre of the tape, I then arranged the other four to create the case. I used another two cubes to create the circles, I then used a cube with the glass material to create a window to show the bars.
Technically I used 11 cubes, since I needed one as the cutter for the Boolean, but I was able to delete that one after applying the modifier, so technically it doesn’t count.
