we should be something at 1000th post… since we are “almost there” at 999 we should be something like “forum master” at 1000! anyone agree with me on this?

No, we don’t need any more reasons for people to spam these forums unnecessarily. IMO.
I think that after you reach post 50, you should be able to change your forum status to whatever you please. This would get rid of the spam posters who only post for the sake of it.
Most of the other 3D forums do this, (cgtalk, threedy).
This way you can call yourself whatever, be it forum Monkey, forum god, or Chief Spam Poster. Admin and Mods would be sacred names though to stop confusion.

The best thing would be to have a rating system to let the OTHER users decide how useful the postings are. Then quality would count rather than quantity. But maybe this requires too much work for all sides.
Anyway, I just like the idea of declaring some people cough as post count whores. 
I actually like that idea of being able to configure your rank, it would be so kool.
BTW: Nico, what if people have something ‘personal’ againts you and vote against you, like in a conspiracy… :-? … and you end up… well… like if something like that can happen in such a friendly forum like this… %| lol!
Umm… usually, if you end up in that position, you deserve it 
I think we should add a new barrier at something huge like 4000 where no-one’s made it yet (top poster is S68 with just over 3700) and see how long people take to notice…
