i bet this film will look much better with texture
Hi Daniel,
Looks great, what software did you use to make it?
Impressive!
Everything was done Blender, except the sound design for which we used Adobe Audition.
This is so inspiring!
Great short! Loved it
Thank you!
Beautifully done. The art design was really nice.

Amazing short film. The story, the design, the models, all beautiful.
Nice work. Having just seen it last night via Vimeo Staff Picks, it was nice surprise to come across a thread mentioning that it had in fact been produced in Blender (no wonder I got a nagging feeling about the software used while watching it)
Personally, I love the visual style of this. In fact, having seen clay/AO “test” renders on these forums for so long, I was wondering when someone would finally just go ahead and do a whole film like this. So, it’s great to see that you’ve taken that and run with it.
Thank you Aligorith! I always loved the look of peoples’ clay renders. To me they feel like the 3D equivalent of a pencil sketch or an ink drawing.
Indeed… In recent years I’ve come to love these kinds of things. Especially “pencil test” animation - that stuff is often much more interesting than the “cleaned up” final painted animation, as it seems to retains a kind of rawness and liveliness about it.
