Title: Security obscurity alone won’t save you

The idea here may be a bit non-obvious. See, in the security world we have a mantra “Security by obscurity is not security”. What this means is that if obscurity (hiding something) is your only form of security then that’s not going to protect you enough. Here I’ve created a padlock without the numbers on it intentionally and maybe some company would think that’s a good idea, it’s a metaphor for all the stupid security by obscurity ideas out there. But of course most locks can be easily broken with a bolt cutter.!
One new thing I learned to do with this one is using armatures to bend things. It made it much easier to bend the shank on the lock in a single place.
