1969 Mustang Fastback Mach 1

Hey guys and gals.

This is my first post and first project using Blender. Please leave some feedback and your critiques.

This is an image texture I’d like to use on the bonnet that I made in PS.

When I apply this I get the same black that I used in PS. Is there a way I can use the same image texture but use a black material I have already made in blender? I thought it would be possible to do this using a node system but I’ve had no luck.

Any ideas?

I hope this explains well enough. The cube is unwrapped, and the texture makes the black part of it use one material and the white part another.


To inverse what shader is what colour just change position in the mix shader like below.
