1969 Plymouth Road Runner

Here is Plymouth Road Runner I created for my personal project. This was my first try at car modeling. Rendered in Cycles with 600 samples.

Beautiful! Love the colors, the lighting, the details… :blue_heart:

Nice!

You should make a Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 next.

Pretty nice for a first car attempt! (and that is coming from a guy with a roadrunner holding a helmet tattoo on his right shoulder)

How did you do the details in the head & tail lights? Both of those have smooth surfaces on the outside, but raised details on the inside of the lights. Bump maps on the insides?

Thank you!

Thanks!

Nice suggestion. I like this car. Might give it a go sometime in the future

Thanks! Well, for the lights it’s actually just a diffuse map. No bump or normal maps. For taillight I just found some photo then edited it in the Photoshop to remove some unwanted glare here and there. For the headlights, basically the same thing but I added a bit of alpha so that it goes through the lens and the light reflects from the chrome housing inside.
