2.32 Blender Armature Question

In the new blender, I’m making a character. It has come time to add the bones, and once I’ve made a skeleton, I go into edit mode and find in the menu for each bone a pulldown tab that is called a “Armature element”

The pulldown menu includes all the major parts of the human body, plus “Skinnable” and “Unskinnable”

I can’t find any official documentation on this new feature. Any one know what it is and how to use it?

These are part of the automatic skinning function. As of now, only Skinnable and Unskinnable are working though.
