I am trying to use material nodes in Blener 2.5 to blend two materials using a mask. The mask is fac input to the mix node - black selects one material and white the other. But the uv mapping isn’t working I think because there are 4 repeated patterns. The blend file is below. Am I not using nodes right in 2.5 or is this a bug I should report?
I figured it out. You have to use a material with the black and white mask texture as input to the mix node. It works great. I can attach a blend file if anyone is interested.
