how can i copy my user preference to a new built ?

cannot find any b25 file anywhere ?

You won’t because blender no longer uses one. See http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:2.5/Source/Installation/ResourceFilePaths
You need to save your defaults to create a startup.blend, its location is dependant on your OS.

dont find any startup file anywhere

i’m on vista 32 bits

but there must be one somewhere?

where can this be located ?

i can see in appdata roaming
a folder 2.55
and a startup + latestfile files
but how do i tell a new built to get it there ?
