2.58 - Transperency issue

Ok, not sure if I should post this here or in the Render since I noticed this problem during a render.

I’m presently designing an internal room for a ship of mine, its got windows that allow the crew inside to see out. However, I’ve run into a very odd issue. The material I’m using has transperency on it, so you see out.

Uploading to this site didn’t work, so I had to use my own FTP. Anyway, in this shot if you look beyond the gangway, you’ll see the outside of the windows.

However, if you look to the bottom right, you’ll notice a mesh that has a bluish semi-transperent texture. Here’s the problem, that Mesh, and the one that is being used for the window, are using the same material. So I have no idea why transperency is working on one mesh - yet isn’t working on the other.

I’m using AO here, but I don’t believe that’s the issue since it’s obviously working in one area.

If you look in the center, where the bluish areas are, those meshes are using the same material that is being used in the first image by the mesh in the upper left area.

I don’t suppose anyone knows what is causing this? I thought it might’ve been lighting, but that doesn’t seem to be it. I also added a cube as a test just to see if transperency was working and you can see the cube just fine, however the terrain beneath isn’t noticiable at all :frowning:

Updated Blender, wasn’t aware 2.58 was out, but it doesn’t seem to have solved the issue :frowning:
