Hi people, I’ve got 2 problems with blender:

  • In the VSE, how do I move multiple clips together? I’ve tried selecting them and then right click-drag, but it only moves one.
  • So I had my VSE to edit video and that was fine. But then, I wanted to do some compositing with nodes, so I opened a node editor, but the RenderLayers node just wasn’t importing from the VSE (it was connected to the composite and viewer node).

I’m neither a native English speaker nor an experienced Blender user, so forgive my mistakes in both senses!

Try selecting 2 and using the g key to grab.
Did you select composite in the render selections? Sometimes I need to press f12 render to get it started.

Thanks, it’s OK now.

Do you mean “compositing” under post processing? That’s already ticked but it still doesn’t work. If I have an image viewer set to Render Result it renders the frame from the video, but it doesn’t use the node editor.
