2.8: Click and windows selection in one?

Hi…,

I come from Rhino.

Is there a way to use click and window drag selection without switching selection type? This seams odd.

You can still click when in box select mode.

You are right for the Blender Keymap. I have switched to this Rhino Keymap, where I have these problems:

FWIW I have made some fixes to the keymap. I’ve also added a .blend file you can load up, then save out as startup file. It has the box select mode as default selection mode - this together with the keymap and UI brings Blender a bit more in reach for Rhino users (:
