Issue 1
Prior to 2.80, I never wrestled with the camera/viewport/navigation like this.
Right now, view (the camera border) keeps zooming, whereas I’d like to zoom into the scene (dolly). No matter if “lock view to camera” is enabled or disabled. Yesterday, I had the opposite problem - scene zoomed but the view (border) stayed the same. What’s wrong? I don’t remember having this issue prior to 2.80.
Issue 2
I like to use the Center selected in view (or Zoom to selected) feature (numpad ,). No matter what I select, it zooms to a seemingly arbitrary, unrelated place. In the video, I’m pressing (numpad ,) after selecting an object.
It’s not the world center nor 3D cursor. Bug? User error?
Thanks!
EDIT: now the LookDev shading option disappeared from the pie menu…
EDIT 2: after restarting Blender, LookDev is back and zooming/dollying the camera/viewport works as expected. Seems both are bugs, and rather nasty ones.
