Work in progress rendering using 2.8. So many new features I’m a fan of.
Anywhere where I’m lacking realism? Feedback is welcome. Thanks!
Its a bit over exposed, and every things really clean and sharp. Even super clean rooms are not that clean. At least put a few dust particles in the air. Are using Filmic colour management? I think that might help here.
Thanks! Just curious, how would you go about adding dust? Particle system or just adding post render? Perhaps some volume scatter with texture? It’s definitely something I’d like to work into the final image.
As for the exposure, I am using filmic, but I brought the whites up quite a bit in post. It’s more of a stylistic choice, but I’ll take it into account.
Im kind of new to blender (but not new to 3d, I am artist), i was speaking more from a artistic standpoint. However, there are a few videos on You tube to do with it (like this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aY2WuNb43mg). i just think the image needs a some subtle atmosphere going on, and that might be the odd dust particle getting the odd bit of light kicking off it. Its the little things Maybe some small grains of dirt under the plant pot. it just feels a little sterile. I hope you take that constructively
For sure James! No need to have any reservations. It’s all constructive. Thanks!
Hey @Riley_Brown thats looking better, i see you toned down the sun a little, I think thats better.
Thanks! Yeah adding some more texture to the room broke the light up a bit more.
