as the title says they start off with my rough concept then build up through my thought process to the final.
So yes mine was the ornithopter.

Pretty damn good. Are you going to make a full blown illustration with one of these?
No probably not. i would like to do a lot of things in my life. so i decide that 90% of them need to go unfinished
its not really worth my time IMO to finish these, there are bigger and better things on my plate infront of me. if someone else wants to then they can feel free.
i will opent he 4th image down as part of a concept battle

I know what you mean. I did see the model you made for the battle with Ecks, It would have been a killer in a scene. Good job!
Hey alltaken, i was wondering i see a lot of sketch drawings done in colors like blue, what makes it different than using a regular lead, er graphite pencil?
In the old days, you’d used a blue “non-photo” pencil for sketching and then go over it with ink for the final comp. The blue lines wouldn’t reproduce on copy cameras. It’s a pretty good idea to keep working like that today as the blue channel can be easily removed from a scan and voila: black lines only.
wahh, thats awesome
as well as what bussman says (which we don’t really do anymore) the blue just looks better.
the contrast ratio seems to make it a lot softer on your eyes without losing the visability.
every drawing at university done in Blue, looks better than one done in black. sometimes i will draw in black, then change to blue in photoshop

funny you say that Alltaken, i also do all my rough photoshop sketches in blue, lol
nice job,
the last one is very good.
Looks like a great start to another Psykyo “1945” shoot-em-up. I’ll be sure to let you know if my team wants to use some of your ideas.
fantastic concepts! you really do have good lines on your pictures.
