250 .jpg's

This evening i renderd a short animation ( 250 frames) It took about 2 and a half hours… When it was done, my computer crashed…:mad: . I could recover my work out of a tmp map, but it wasn’t a movie, it were 250 images…
how can i solve it, without re-rendering it…

load the rendered jpeg sequence into sequencer as images, then output in desired format.

in fact, that precise reason is why it’s BETTER to render an animation as stills - much harder to recover a corrupted .mpeg or .avi file (if it even exists) than a bunch of sequential stills. any editing program or blender compositor can convert them to video easily
