This is so cool and very useful for me in particular, my archviz workflow is heavily reliant on cutout for scale and storytelling of course.

Quick question: Does the addon automate the lighting of the cutout to match the scene??

The video have hdri lightning, but the figures are just images with the background removed. Nothing advanced in the set-up.

Error: No module named ‘diffusers’
this is the error i get

Did you click the Setup Environment button first?

If you did, you may have to right-click on the Blender icon and start it as admin.

Let me know if that solves it for you.

So, did you get it working?

No I still get the error.
Also it wont install on 4.2 : Error in manifest Archive has no manifest: “blender_manifest.toml”

Okay, please do a bug report on GitHub, including your os, gfx card and the content from the system console.

Same here:

Blender 4.2.2 :: 13 Oct 2024.

Updated with batch processing of text-blocks(in the Text Editor), one line=one prompt for quickly filling up the asset browser with elements you might need in your scene. The prompts can be generated with GPT4Blender inside the Blender Text Editor too:

2D Asset Generator add-on for Blender updated: Auto separate multiple item images such as character turnaround sheets, so one instance of the character becomes one asset.

Please help me test an installation of a Blender virtual environment: https://github.com/tin2tin/2D_Asset_Generator/archive/refs/heads/2dag_verv.zip… When installed, in the add-on preferences, click on “Install Dependencies”, when finished, restart Blender, and find the 2d Asset Gen in the 3d View sidebar. Then give me a shout!

Test this one instead, and let me know how it goes: https://github.com/tin2tin/2D_Asset_Generator
