Just wondering if I could take a vec4 layer and apply an offset to it… Using a vec2, or something… I may have asked something like this before, but I have terrible memory, for which I apologize.
You mean like adding one Vector to another? (Sounds simple.) But how would you go about adding a vec2 to a vec4??
No, not quite… Like how one might use:
sample1 += 2.0 * ((texture2D(bgl_RenderedTexture, texCoo + 0.0))
But rather than using the render feed, use a previously created vec4… Or just to move a vec4 layer in one direction or another, from its original location.
I think you should be able to just adjust the vector’s components to move it, like:
vec4 test;
test.x += 0.01;
Or something to that effect.
I tested this directly, and it seems that x=r, y=g, and z=b… So test.r is the same as test.x… Disappointing, but I’m sure you’re on the right track. Probably just a minor adjustment to syntax.
