2d fluid sim

While surfing the net I came across an interesting fluid simulation program. It’s really just a toy, but it’s still cool. :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, I think it’s a particle sim, not grid based.

Pretty cool program. The code is interesting.

Thanks for the link.
Cheers!

that sort of thing is for the startup screen for black and white 2.

you use your mouse and move the logo and theres loads of little squares, and the logo interacts with them, its really is cool.

cool find!

was in B&W 1 too, anyway.

Shame Black and White 2 wasn’t anything like finished when it came out. :frowning: Shame too, creature training looked so much better than Black and White 1, where I ended up with a cow that spent an entire day pointing at the fish and laughing his head off

It’s somewhat similar to a program that I have on my iPaq called Waterworks. There is a Java applet version available too, but I can’t seem to find it anymore.

If you can do this type of code, you should be able to rock with SVG/Html+Time and SMIL.
I still have an Old Bit-101 tutorial on 3D vector animation that I think would easily convert to SVG.
