30 second short film drawn with Grease Pencil

Hey all,
I’ve been continuing my exploration of animating with Greasepencil, applying it to this sort of rough diary/sketchbook idea I had for a series of short films that can work as standalones but also fit together as a greater whole. This is the first one (content warning: there is a second or two of cartoon nudity).

I’m just using Grease Pencil as a traditional 2D animation tool, but sometimes taking advantage of underlying 3D reference — it came in handy for the shot here where the camera is overhead (and moving) in the character’s studio.

I’m outputting lines and fills from Blender, then treating the material in After Effects to get this particular look. Hope you like it — thanks for taking a look, and thanks for sharing your work and tips on here.
