We are looking for a talented freelance 3D artist to join our team at R2U! If you’re passionate about creating stunning virtual environments and are interested in working with cutting-edge Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies for the Apple Vision Pro, this opportunity might be perfect for you. About the Role:
As a 3D artist, you’ll contribute to projects such as Virtual Showrooms and Interior Models for AR/VR. Your goal will be to deliver highly detailed and optimized models that create immersive, realistic experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Create or optimize realistic 3D models of products (furniture, appliances, décor items, finishes, etc.) based on briefs and references.
- Search for, download, optimize, and adapt specific 3D assets from 3D stores.
- Ensure models have open UVs in atlas format, prepared for future lightmap bakes.
- Apply realistic texturing to models.
Requirements:
- Experience as a 3D Artist, 3D Designer, or 3D Modeler.
- Knowledge of 3D topology.
- Strong autonomy and self-management skills.
- Ability to deliver tasks within agreed deadlines.
- Availability for occasional alignment meetings and collaborative reviews with our team.
Nice to Have:
- Experience and proficiency in Blender.
- Knowledge of architecture or interior design.
- Experience creating realistic assets for games or AR/VR.
- Experience with rendering (CGI).
- Portuguese Speaker
Contract Type:
- Freelancer (issuing invoices is necessary).
- Work on demand—you set your own schedule!
- Engagement can be project-based or time-based, as per negotiation.
