3D block diagrams with satellite image draped over topography

Help! Just spent 3 hours with AI taking me in circles. I urgently need help in creating a 3D block diagram that will be similar to the below except I want to drape the satellite image over the correct topography instead of having fake colours on the surface of the volcano. I then want to be able to export the draped satellite image into a graphics suite to add the subsurface geology. Can anyone provide a very quick detailed step by step how to for this? I have the satellite image as a jpeg and the and the first of 4 2D topo lines already available as dfx. The next three topo lines need to cut into the first at different levels (so I will end up with three images) so that I have the two planes with subsurface graphics (I hope that makes sense). I am running Blender 5.2 and I have never used it before and I am a bit of a techphobe. I have tomorrow (Sunday UK) to get this all completed. Once I have Blender files saved as png or JPeg Im good to go with graphics suite. Please please please help!!!

Why? Is this for a client project? If so, it would be more polite to make this a post in Jobs > Paid Work and split the payment instead of asking someone else to do the work you’re getting paid for

Deadlines should never ever “end” on weekends…

Also it seems wasting time with some AI does not help..

Four topo lines ?? This seems to benot very accurate.. so you might “simply clone paint” some surface images onto the diagram ???

Nevermind, I reverted back to an old way of doing it. However, completely new to Blender, including working out the forums and where different conversations go. So you could have been a little more helpful in guiding me rather than being rude! It was actually volunteer work for a hazards NGO. But if you think a short time frame in arranging a subcontract for payment could have been completed over a weekend on a tight time scale, then you clearly haven’t done much international engineering contract work

Deadlines happen when they happen!

I’m not using AI fo rthis its spits out rubbish!

Four topos were plenty for the requirements of the project - let me be the judge of that

Certainly not clone painting as you put it.

You’re very judgemental!

make it make sense.

So.. in the end you know it all better.. fine for you.

Happy blending and good luck.

There isn’t much information available, but you can find it by searching for “Blender Geology.”

However, you will likely need a significant amount of time to assess the value of the information and determine if it can be integrated into your own work.

The video in the link demonstrates how to utilize the data.
