3D card problems...

First of all I’ll tell you what kinda problem I have.

I have recently bought a new 3D card (Sapphire ATI Radeon 9600XT 256mb) and I am very pleased with it 'couse it is very fast…but I have some problems with it:

First problem, when I start Blender (2.34) everything works perfectly and very fast but after a while (say, about 3 tp 4 minutes) Blender starts workling very slow and after the minute even slower! Terribly innoying. Anybody have an Idea, please reply. (I have the newest driovers for my 3dcard, the newest directx, the newest drivers for my motherboard…what can i do? :frowning: )

Secondly, when I am playing a 3d game that after a while the complete pc freezes. I searched in the ATI Display Setting and I found a tab where I can be able to set this certain setting on: “Enable VPU Recover” and there under “Prepare an error report if VPU recover is activated, for submissions to ATI Technologies”

(Here is a screenshot of the complete tab: http://img13.exs.cx/img13/9585/displayproperties.jpg)

But now is my question,
WHY THE HELL DOES THIS PROBLEM ACCURE AT ALL???
WHY DOES THE GRAPHICS ACCELERATOR DOESN’T REACT TO THE DRIVER’S COMMANDS???

Somebody any idea?

This is what my complete pc is: http://www.geocities.com/blender3ddottk/mycomputer.txt

This sounds like the standard ati slowdown problem. Thought it was fixed in 2.34.

Try here:

If that doesn’t sort it ask again.

Hmmm… the game thing is a bit disturbing tho…
