.3d file format import to Blender

Hello all,I want to import models using the format .3d into Blender, and I am unable to find any way to get it to Blender, does anyone happen to know how can one do so?

What source application made them.
.3d files could mean more than one thing.
Why not instead export to a file format that can be imported. If from someone else tell them to export as something else

Thank you for replying.

I want to import models from Deus Ex,which uses the 1st Unreal Engine. The models are stored in an archive file which uses the .u format,I have used an application called Umodel that extracts the models from the archive file as .3d files.
Regarding my question,I think I may have found a way to get these models to Blender,I’ll try that out once I get home and edit this post if I have found how so others having the same question will try this out. Otherwise,I’ll submit another reply if there’s no avail.

Thanks again.

anyone knows how to open .3ds and .unr map files inn blender with 3d ripper tools?
