Hi Blender Artists Community!
We are a small, passionate team working on a short 3D Tower Defense game (open field style) called Zamora 901 to be released next year (March 2025), where historical narrative and music play a central role in immersing the player. At the end of the game, we want the player to have learned about a forgotten battle that took place in Iberia during the 10th century, and to have enjoyed the narrative and the music!
We’re looking for talented volunteers to join us and bring this vision to life!
Who We’re Looking For:
- 2D Artists: To create illustrations for narration sequences and trailers.
- 3D Artists: For modeling, rigging, and animating characters and buildings.
- Voice Actors: For English narration, characters, including the role of the King of Asturias.

Project Highlights
The game is based on the historical Day of Zamora (901 A.D.), a four-day battle to defend the Zamora castle.
The story will be inspired by real events and written by an author specializing in medieval and magical tales.
Original soundtrack composed by a music composer to enhance the immersion of the game.
The game will have a public debut at a 3-day game show in Spain at the end of March 2025.
Why Join Us?
This is a volunteer-based project with a clear and achievable scope. While the game will be short, it’s a unique opportunity to collaborate on a meaningful project that combines history, art, music and gameplay. Our team includes members from Brazil, the US, and Spain, and we foster an inclusive and judgment-free environment.
Note: You don’t need to speak Spanish — our team can communicate in English as well.
How to Get Involved
We look forward to working with passionate individuals who share our excitement for this project.
