3D Manipulator - Add plane constraints

Hey Guys,

One thing im really missing from 3ds max is the 3d manipulator.
Is there a way to get something similar in blender?

To move you could constrain to the z axis by click and draging the z axis. This part already exists.

But having the little square will constrain to a plane, for example the z, x plane by selecting the blue and red corner.
This would be such a time saver!
Yes i know there are shortcuts for this, but a visual representation means I don’t have to keep trying to figure out which shortcut to use. And so speeds up the work flow…

Edit: Have found you can shift click an axis, which is working reasonably well

I agree. This was in Unity 3D and it would be really useful to have it in Blender too! Yea, the Shift click works, but I’d rather see it.

I don’t know if it’s dead…
