3d Printing problems

Hi, I’d like to 3D print one figure that I have in Blender. But I have several problems: First, how to size up the mesh’s resolution? In Blender everything seems fine, but when I export it in .obj or .stl it the resolution is low, I mean there is lot of harsh parts and without details. The second problem, since I want my mesh to be mobile after printing, I don’t know how to add joints on it which will be visible when I export it to .obj or .stl. Thanks everyone!

It sounds like you have a subdivision surface modifier in Blender that isn’t getting exported (modifiers don’t export). To fix this, click on the drop down arrow on your subdivision surface modifier and choose “Apply”. That should fix your smoothness problem

Blender scale is off. Set your scale to 100X it’s current dimensions and it will load correctly into your slicer.
