After spending the last 3 days fighting with Blender trying to learn it, I’ve given up…

I’m trying to create 3D images of my companies products to improve the look of our website and not appear outdated when compared to our competitors.

I’m trying to recreate the kind of appearance that one of our competitors use for their products similar to this page:https://www.gravotech.co.uk/products/laser-marking-stations/lw2

At the moment, my company’s website just uses static images:

I have the 3D models available for our machine in .STEP format.

Would someone be willing to do a first off so that I can present it to our marketing director with a view to doing our entire product range?

Doesnt come up for me. I get the same for other users too, is my acc locked or something? I joined today.

I have the option to DM you @adammcgivern. @PolygonShinobi your account is very new, I don’t think you get DM functionality until you build up reputation. You need to reach trust level one by doing all of the following:

  • Entering at least 5 topics
  • Reading at least 30 posts
  • Spend a total of 10 minutes reading posts

If you create a post in the Blender Artists support section and mention @bartv or @joseph they may be able to assist you

Cool. Thanks for the help, I’ll do that. Figured it probably had something to do with that, think I only have 3-4 hours since account creation.

If you aren’t able to get help in the help section try commenting on some finished artwork, that should help you fill some of the requirements.

Hello,
I was just looking and I have a button to start a PM with you, not sure if it would work but somebody else may be able to start the PM with you and then you be able to message them, I think it is just you can’t start a PM with anybody but they can start a PM with you. I can try this if you want?
