is there any tool like Elefont for Linux ? One that allows you to export in the .DXF format say.
I’m not sure what elefont is, but blender can make 3D-text and can export to DXF…
add>>>text>>>(go to edit window and select font)>>adjust dimensions/bevel/spacing etc in edit window>>>alt C ( convert to curve )>>alt C ( convert to mesh ) >> select all vertices in edit mode and press ‘remove doubles’. that’s all there is too it. then export to .dxf
