3D Track NukeX to Blender Slides

I exported 3D tracks from NukeX as Alembic, when i imported it in blender things started to slide upwards ever so slightly even tho things are fine in Nuke. I have matched the framerate, but it still slides. any idea why is that?

Also when i import an FBX (downloaded from MAXIMO) it always messes up the camera track, not sure why

Welcome :tada:

if you really want some answers you might wana give some more info than i tried and it failed ??

As far as i know the alembic import uses the Docs-Blender Manual: modifier ->mesh_sequence_cache… which uses it’s own “timing” and the camera data in both app may be different or it’s y up ??

yeah, i wanted to send the video but the web won’t let me since i’m a new user:(

I’m suspecting it’s the rotation order, since Nuke uses ZYX and Blender uses XYZ, but i can’t find how to change one or the other

also, even if that’s case, why is it only affecting upwards

In the blender FBX importer you can choose a manual orientation… ( never had problems with models; this may be different with camera ( tracking ) data ??.. there is a paid addon “betterFBX” or something…). IDK why

In fact there was some discussion her on BA (top right :mag: --icon  )

and there seems to be multiple versions of video tuts like this (almost random):

or maybe even better:

i’ll look more into this, Thankss!
