This is either a very obvious question, or it just doesn’t exist…
I’m trying to do a simple animation of a sphere that I’m compositing over a video, only problem is in the 3D view, my solid object is obscuring my view of the video in the background.
How can I adjust the opacity of the object in the viewport, or put the video on top and adjust the opacity of that? It is pretty important for my animation that I’m able to sync up with the video.
All i want to do is change the opacity of my objects in the 3D view (while textured shading is turned on), so I can see my background image behind it.
Is this not possible?
Isn’t the sequencer for video clips?
I’m trying to turn the 3D objects in the 3D viewer see-through, while still keeping the texture on them viewable. This is so I can animate them precisely with the video image I have set to the background. I’m not trying to layer videos, I’m trying to animate eyes that will be composited later with an actors face. I already know how to combine the elements later, I’m just trying to precisely animate it now so the movement looks realistic.
