I tried Clear/Apply, checked for doubles and also check the normals. What els can I do to solve the problem?
hmm, looks like the hair is showing through, maybe the alpha problem?
It could also be a camera problem…
I’m glad you checked for normals before asking though, because that would be my first guess!
I hide the hair, Its the face that worries me. I not using any camera.
Arr!!! Sometimes blenders really drives me crazy! But I still love it in someways. HA HA! Anyway, the problem is solved with applying two-side texture but would this add up the processing power when in the game?
CTRL-N while in edit mode might fix it up. Try it.
Nope! I tried that also before I post it. It just correct all the normals to face the same direction. No?
Hmm… No then.
Try posting the blend and someone will figure out what’s wrong. Rotate the model if you can and see what’s making the faces disappear too.
Select Head
Edit Mode
F9
Deselect Double Sided
Select No V.Normal Flip
Select all Faces
Ctrl+N
that should do it
I think facemania may be right (and who would know better than he would?
) Select the offending faces and make sure that they’re not set to Alpha
Ha Ha. Thanks! I not such how but when I tried it in game mode again with out using MagicMyshu steps yet. The problem is no more. Still I thank you.
hehe, glad you got it working!
I just thought of another reason why it could’ve looked like that. It could be your graphics card. I have the same issue occasionally, and reloading the file, (sometimes even a alt+ tab) will fix it.
I’m not sure why it does this though, I have the latest drivers, and my brother is using the exact same card, and he doesn’t experience it. ![]()
