Does anyone have experience making models with Blender and sending a .STL file to one of the stereolithography/3dprinter service bureaus? I was thinking it would be fun to make a couple parts, but dunno if they’re worth the novelty price.
Yes…give me a minute to find some photos to upload. I sent an STL file to a Statasys FDM type rapid prototyper. Turned out superb.

The Print-out: (Did a few modifications before printing. Also, the side “wings” broke off because the ABS was not strong enough in the printed orientation.) About 11" long.

It was a design idea for a 4-wheel bike intended for a guy with no arms. steering by rocking his torso back and forth.
