3ds max

I got a copy of 3ds max 5

you know, it seems really childish, and overly complicated…

i am planning on leanring, but i am not disappearing form the boards…

i lvoe blender, and even when i go pro, i plan to use it for modeling…
no matter what my boss says!

I don’t like max. That doesn’t necessarily make it a bad program, it just makes it slightly more probable

Anyway, good luck with it.

well, even the pros sometimes use free programs. I Use wings at work. http://members.aol.com/skyf41/images/squeaksemoticon.gif

you know everyone says blender’s interface is clunkey and hard to use, but you know it is much better than maya, lightwave, truespace and even softimage(all of which i have used and been disgusted with). but blender’s interface is so easy to use once you get to know it.

The modifier stack is really fun. Best part of Max interface (in my mind)
Its been a while (many versions) since I’ve used it. Let me know if the bones are finally useable.

Here’s where I use these:
Modeling = Blender (it’s so easy)
Texturing, network rendering, animating = 3ds max

The net render in max is extremely useful for big projects.

hey nayman where did you actually “got” a copy of max5?can you send me a copy? :stuck_out_tongue:
