I have finished work on my first render in blender.

i know it’s not quite up to par of some others around here but I hope to get better as time goes by.
If that truly is your first render in Blender I have to say that it looks great. It is no terribly complicated model but the result is really nice!
Have you used other programmes before or are you a natural talent?
I used maya a few times, but this is my very first project in blender.
This is very good for a first Blender render. Now you just need to work towards the full scene that includes the guy who is shining a flashlight on that bulb. 
Actually you might learn enough new skills just trying to recreate this image with the biulb switched on. Something to try.
