Im just wasting space but just wanted to share this: tonight is my ninth anniversary of living is this country and in the state of NY!!(and by pure coinsidence(?) that week it had snowed heavily just like yesterday) BTW I’ve only left this country twice, 1-Montreal, 2- London(both in Canada)

Oh, I think there’s a Sparta, MS too. Though, I’m not sure… there was a movie and TV show set around a Sparta, MS, it may not actually be a real place. (In the Heat of the Night, movie with Sidney Poiteir (sp?) and In the Heat of the Night, tv show with Carrol Conner). Oh, here in Alabama we have our own version of the Giza Plateau… it’s a town called Moundsville, lots of big, impressive indian mounds.

Well… Alabama has Enterprise. Actually, for one day we had Star Trek too. I was there in Huntsville during the 30th Anniversary (Sept. '96). The theme was “Star Trek on Earth”. For the weekend, the USPS had a special post office set up at the Vaughn Braun (sp?) Convention Center that you could send stuff through, the post mark was “Star Trek, AL”. That was a fun weekend… I got to see a Klingon (incredible taylor and makeup work) smoking girlie cigaretes (like Virginia Slims or something… 120’s), and I got to go to a VIP party where I hit on Kate Mulgrew.
