I have designed a futuristic bike, and I started modeling it with my old Lightwave 7.5
Blender 2.5 have a great user interface so I could start learning blender. I couldnt learn blender 2.49 due to my bad feeling with UI.
The harder part was getting to use a non-Lightwave-selection and I did not totally yet accustomed.
So I switched to blender, I finished the bike modeling and I’m currently modeling the pilot with my blueprint-girlfriend.
My camera lens have distorded the bottom part of the blueprint image, so I have done some adjustment of legs and feet proportions.
I dont want use my time before choosing the render engine. With 2M of polys the blender internal’s occlusion solver wont render my image: I will test the Cycles renderer or luxrender. (Mitsuba have not a shader UI integration so no Mitsuba)
There is the bike modeling
Thanks for your future advices and critical observations
