Hi, everyone. I started a personal Blender blog today. Maybe I can help a few people out there discover Blender, as I did not long ago, as well as post for existing Blender users some tips and techniques I’ve developed over the past few months, especially during the F1 contest model project.
Thanks again for hosting such a great community here at Elysiun.com. This is one of the best online communities I have ever participated in.
Blender has made such an incredible difference in my graphics capabilities, and I’m thankful to everyone who has made it possible and is making it better.
Have a good week everyone,
Wow, great! Might I suggest a link to the Blender manual and/or on your page? I like the idea of adding random factoids and personal experiences about Blender to the web in a central location. Hey, if other Blender users think up things, can we mail them to you and have you add them somewhere? Or would you rather the site stayed “yours” and we post to the forums or knowlege base?
Cool, thanks for the feedback. I’ll definitely add a link to the manual on the page. I read that the documentation board (at blender.org) recently released a slightly more complete version of the manual in progress, but I noticed there are still sections waiting to be written. As for other users, I think for now I’ll stay with what I’m doing but what I might also do is highlight important/helpful threads in Elysiun.com, linking directly to threads in future articles posted to the blog.
Hi, Basse. Congratulations by the way on the F1 contest! It’s an honor to be tied with you! BTW I voted for you!
From what I understand a blog is like a personal message board dedicated to a certain topic of your choosing. You can post something to your personal blog (“web log”) whenever you want. There’s a cool blog site where anyone can get their own free “blog.”

There are two manuals available. The 2.0 which is the old NaN doc:
wow that’s great! I’m sure that this will get some more people interested in blender. I was just thinking that maybe you shuold put a picture made in blender on the front page to really get some-one’s attention…
