I’m releasing Texture Master, an add-on that should help you a lot of time when you work on scenes with many textures.
Basically it’s just one panel in Blender, you scan and every texture operation is a click away.
Here are the features:

Scan & Overview every image in the scene, world and compositor included, with thumbnails, resolution, file size and status (packed, unpacked, missing, unused, duplicated). Filterable by channel.

Preview & Dependencies, click any texture to see its metadata, which materials use it (and on which shader input), and which objects. Click an object name to select it in the viewport.

Batch Resize with presets from 32px to 8K or custom dimensions, LANCZOS resampling, and a smart skip on textures already at target size.

Format Conversion between PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF (5.1+), TIFF, EXR, Targa and BMP. Alpha flattening, gamma correction and HDR to LDR are handled cleanly.

Backup & Restore, a timestamped folder before any destructive op and one-click restore when needed.

Find & Relink Missing, point it at a folder and it walks through recursively, scores matches by confidence and relinks everything in one click.

Pack & Unpack in batch with collision detection that auto-renames using the parent directory as disambiguator.

Remove Unused & Deduplicate using pixel-sampled hashes, so duplicates get caught regardless of filename. Each flagged texture comes with its reason so you know what’s going on.

Batch Rename with Find & Replace, Prefix, Suffix or Sequential Counter (with padding), and a live old-to-new preview before applying.

Colorspace & Image Adjustments to batch-set sRGB, Non-Color or Linear, change interpolation mode, and apply destructive edits like brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, RGB multipliers or invert.

Mipmap Generation for game engine pipelines, with power-of-2 chains and three naming conventions (suffix, folder per texture, resolution folders).
