OK, I suppose there is some “rainbow beam” passing from left to right or otherwise The thread is HOW to render it faster (not with a render farm). And I think that Brecht will solve this part some day.
The Island is great! But I think that DoF isn’t good for this scene… because it looks like a “Hooliwer’s island”… a macro… a kind of this. Some flickery-epileptic-like effects on texts after this… NO good. Try to listen Chaikovsky… then suddenly turn on loudly Napalm Death’s stuff… it’s like this : -D
1000 passes, one light.
Technically still a WIP since I didn’t get rid of the black noise yet with GIMP.
Beautiful glass work! I almost feel like I can reach in an grab the jars and eat the candies!
WOW! Where can I get these Shader Nodes? I really would like to test them for CRystals and other precious Jemstones!
WOW! very nice So they were used throughout the history of Blender? That should be part of Blender’s Logo Those pigs are very wise and have seen alot! It would be neat to have a picture and/or video timeline of how those pigs looked as they tested various features of blender throughout time!
Here’s a Leafy Shader Test for both indoor and outdoor. I simply took a Fig Leaf photo from internet and made bump map, specular map, and alpha map for each of them and then assigned maps for each shader.

say I was wondering, I tried to create the same effect with glass like you did, but I can’t seem to get the lighting right, what shader settings and lighting setup do you use for those glass jars? Mind if I have a look at the scene?
