A Dangerous Billabong

This scene was inspired from the northern outback of Australia. I used geo scatter to scatter the foliage,
a noise texture to blend two different materials with adaptive displacement. Mega scan assets were used for the rocks, cliffs and tree stumps. The water material is using the light path node to remove the shadows and volume absorption with scattering for the dirty feel of the water. The clouds were an imported vdb and a mist pass was done to create depth. The final render is done with Cycles.

Not only amazingly done but also inspired me to research the reasons of the three languages used on this sign…

and also a Cairns Post article 2016: Croc warning signs could be changed as part of review…
