I found an image of a desk clock online, and then I tried to reproduce it in Blender. What do you think?
very cool, just a couple of things to top it sff
- bevel, i havent seen wood that sharp before
- you’d be better off modelling the hands on the clock than texturing them, come on, its not that hard
The clock hands are modeled. I guess they need more depth or shadows or something. Nice idea with the bevel… wish it were easier in Blender.

Is it a phototexture or a procedural map?
I see the axis are more narrowed down in the pic than in the 3D model.
I would lessen the reflection on the glass.
It doesn’t show up in the real picture either.
I you’re gonna reproduce the picture, you should change the angle a little. Also, if you modeled those hands, show them off!
