A fabric shader, or how to use the new OSL features in Blender IV

although the bear in the example image might frighten small children rather than invite them to cuddle, the shader itself used to create the hessian (or burlap depending on your English dialect) is rather nice. check it in the link below the image and show us the results if you create something nice with it :slight_smile:

A took a new approach to creating a fabric shader, this time using Gabor noise. Not better, just different. Check this post if your are interested. Example node setup and code for an OSL Gabor noise node are provided as well. Example image below, supposed to be denim:
